Did you know that 67% of teen moms live below the poverty line,
only half will graduate from high school, and less than 1% will ever
earn a college degree? This sobering reality is the reason Hope
House of Colorado offers free self-sufficiency programs and
assistance to at-risk teen moms and their children from all over the
Denver-metro area.
These young ladies are often faced with making difficult financial
choices, including the need to say ‘no’ to extras such as Halloween
costumes.
We are collecting donations of new, and gently used costumes for
the children of Hope House. All sizes are needed, including infant
and elementary S-M-L!
Please drop a costume off in the box in the lobby by October 12th to
help us make the Fall / Halloween season more enjoyable for these
littles who may not otherwise get to participate!
Thank you!
