Nicole Dorn, Owner & instructor

Nicole's a Florida born and raised fitness fanatic that traded in the familiar sand and sun for the majestic beauty of mountains and snow. She now calls Colorado home in pursuit of love and adventure.

She grew up very active and was involved in soccer, basketball, track, volleyball, and competitive cheerleading. Nicole is happiest when she shares her love for fitness. Her background is PreK-12 Physical Education, 200 Hour Yoga Certified, she is the creator of barrefree, kids yoga certified, and Aerial Yoga certified. She has offered yoga, barre, and other fitness classes to the Aurora community and it has been very rewarding for her as she's naturally a giver and a nurturer. She looks forward to offering her students a safe space to show up, be vulnerable, have fun, and experience life together.

She enjoys spending time with her husband, her 13 month old daughter, and is excited to welcome another little girl to the tribe in early March. She also stays busy or nuts with four big dogs at home. She is thankful for her tribe in and out of the studio. We welcome you to this beautiful, crazy, and wonderful journey!

Her personal thoughts are that “yoga is everywhere we go and in everything we do, it doesn't just exist on the mat. When we can love ourselves as a whole, offering compassion and understanding to one’s self both on and off the mat, is when love can also be offered fully to those around us. Yoga is fully experiencing life in the present, in one moment, with one breath, and with gratitude.” She brings this mindset to every style of class that she teaches. She looks forward to seeing you at the barre and on the mat.

Liz C.

Hello yogis! Liz is a proud Colorado native who fell in love with yoga at age 19. She implemented the practice while in college, which helped keep her healthy and happy while obtaining her Bachelor’s degree and pre-med prerequisites at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Immediately afterwards she decided she wanted to share the love and light of yoga with others through teaching. Since, she's been dedicated to health and wellness through a healing balance of mind, body, and spirit on and off the mat.

She believes in the power that yoga instills in the body to change and strengthen. She believes yoga serves as a guide to mediate our thoughts, actions, and attitudes. She also believes that yoga can be used to manifest love and gratitude for the self as well as others. Through the practice, we seek to experience our edge, yet learn to respect our body’s boundaries, as they change on a day-to-day basis. She invites you to show up to your mat, be present, work, grow, and play!

Katie D.

Katie is a lion-hearted Leo who seeks to empower and inspire others to find balance and self-love in a practice that is truly for everyone. Her yoga mat has been her box of tissues, security blanket, comedian stage, personal trainer, safety net, medicine and a safe place for self-discovery and thought. She had awakeup call in the form of a traumatic brain injury and during her recovery, she decided to make some lifestyle changes, which included making yoga part of her daily practice. She has found that yoga also has played a very important role on her healing journey with Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, an autoimmune condition.

She is a lover of the Earth and all rocks! She earned a BS in Geological Engineering while playing collegiate softball and an MSc in Geology from the Colorado School of Mines. She is a 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Registered Teacher. She also completed a 70 hour Aerial Yoga Teacher Certification right here at Love Junkie.

Katie is one of the few native Coloradan’s in the state and is a mountain girl forever. She is a lover of all things outdoors and when she is off the mat, you can find her living her yoga on the tops of Colorado’s Peaks (and other peaks throughout the world). She spends the rest of her time loving on her husband, 2 puggles, family and friends. She hopes that you will join her on this amazing journey!

Susie is a mother of two rambunctious kiddos and a wife to her loving husband! She loves to wake before the sun to do her yoga, meditation, and cuddling of the fur babies! Susie is a caring and quiet soul that enjoys having a house full of kiddos, cooking, reading, and gardening.
She discovered yoga many years ago but didn’t quite understand the magic beyond exercise. In 2015 she returned to her mat regularly to find herself. A special teacher inspired her to truly find yoga’s strength, balance, and connection. She began to incorporate meditation and Ayurveda (yoga’s sister science) to bring the body in healthy balance.
Susie enjoys offering classes that create mind and body connection using the breath! She encourages exploration in postures to find your strength and balance so these skills may extend off the mat!

Emily B.

Emily is a fitness enthusiast with a passion for challenging herself and others to become all that they were destined to be. Her wellness journey began at the age of 16 when her older sister dragged her out of bed for early morning runs until she learned to love it and became motivated to pursue other aspects of fitness on her own. Now a personal trainer with 3 years of experience, her certifications include NCSF Certified Personal Trainer, PTA Global Behavior Change in Exercise, and 200 Hr Yoga through Holistic Yoga School. She is also trained in Reiki at the Master level and loves helping people find healing by connecting with, and clearing their sacred energy. She enjoys music and is known to spontaneously burst into song, and can be found outside enjoying nature whenever possible. Her greatest joy comes from spreading the message of love and inner peace to others and inspiring them to believe in their own value and potential; a message she first received on her yoga mat that resonated with and changed her
life forever.

Sarah F.

Sarah grew up on Long Island, NY, lived in MI for a few years and recently made the move to Colorado. Sarah is a pediatric home care Occupational Therapy Assistant.

She discovered yoga while rowing in high school. Her practice began as away to prevent injury and improve flexibility. As my yoga practice evolved, the mental practice kept me returning to my mat. My classes focus on connecting breath with movement while creating a safe and positive environment. I want my students to step off the mat feeling more at peace within themselves and ready to take on any challenges life may bring.

Cortnie W.

Cortnie was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. (yes, she bleeds black & yellow! and teaches non attachment on it!) She, along with her husband and 3 kids, moved to CO 6 years ago.  Since then she's a sucker for the beautiful mountains and calming views in which she now calls home.  After many years  of practicing yoga, she became certified to teach.  Along with her 200 hour yoga certification, she is a Level 3 Reiki practitioner.  Yoga to her is "creating a space of healing.  No matter what we need... physical, emotional, mental, spiritual; we can quiet the mind and create that safe space when we come to our mats.  It is then, we are exactly where we need to be.  Her goal is for ya'll  to feel at peace, home in your body, soft in your mind, & alive in your soul".  Let her love on you and hold space for you, in order to heal from whatever your journey you are on.  Her hopes are that her classes will help restore your entire being.  Join her to feel relaxed & renewed!
